Poppins

Poppins is a group for babies and pre-school children accompanied by an adult. We meet every Thursday during school term times from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., in the church hall. There are lots of lovely toys, time to play and chat and make new friends with squash, tea, coffee, biscuits and snacks. Everyone is welcome. We ask for a voluntary donation of £2 for each family.

Blacklands Parish Group

This is a secular group attached to Christchurch Blacklands and St Andrew. It is not active currently. Membership of the group shall be open to all persons of 18 years and over irrespective of where they live.
The group meets on a Monday evening at 7:30 p.m., once a month between September and June for talks, demonstrations or social events, with occasional meetings and events at other times. New members are always welcome. Further details from the Secretary: 07759-911195 or carylann1066@aol.com
Funds raised by the group are used to support the Church.
Annual subscriptions, £4.00, become due in September. We contribute £2.00 for each meeting we attend, which includes tea or coffee and biscuits.
We hope to be able to keep an archive of interesting items, such as presentations from talks or photographs of group activities. The first item last season was Charlie’s talk on Ecclesiastical Tat, the PowerPoint presentation from which you may find here.

Blacklands Afternoon Fellowship

This very popular group has been renamed and now will meet usually on the fourth Monday of each month.
We meet in the Parish Hall on Mondays, starting at 2.15 p.m. An annual membership contribution of £5 is welcomed. Visitors are always welcome. A contribution of £2.50 is asked for, which includes tea and a raffle ticket. For further information, please contact the Group Leader, Jean Piper, 01424-435838.

Home Group and Bible Study

For Lent in most years we have one Home Group which meet regularly for discussion weekly. Meetings will be announced on the Pew Sheet
